The artist's country
A large part of the chart has come from the United States and the United Kingdom since 1999. The share of Dutch artists has grown. You can read more about who they are at Dutch artists.
Women in the chart
We only count solo artists with a known gender in MusicBrainz. Bands, duos and mixed groups are left out, even if they have a female singer.
